Single bottle of red wine on a dark wooden table in a quiet room

Get to know Château Alessan

A Bordeaux-inspired wine house, Chilean-grown, and built for the tables that matter.

THE PROCESS

What makes a wine house worth remembering?

We work with a single grower in Chile. The fruit is selected by hand. The ageing happens on the house's terms — slowly, deliberately, without hurry.

Single-grower vineyard sourcing

Single-grower sourcing

One relationship. One vineyard block. The fruit comes from people we know by name.

Bordeaux-inspired wine blending

Bordeaux-inspired blending

We reference Pauillac, not Pomerol. Cabernet sauvignon leads, with structure and ageability in mind.

Reserva wine tiers

Reserva and above

We only produce reserva, gran reserva, and ultra-premium tiers. No entry-level bottlings.

New York taste and Chilean soil

New York taste, Chilean soil

The fruit is Chilean. The sensibility is Upper East Side. Both show in every bottle.

Slow barrel ageing process

Slow, small-production ageing

We age in French oak on the house's own terms. No hurry. The wine finishes when it finishes.

THE TEAM

A single grower, a single vision

Bernard M Alessan built Château Alessan with a cellar palate and a New York address. Every label reflects that pairing.

THE HOUSE OF ALESSAN

A mission rooted in two places

Our mission is to build a modern prestige wine house anchored to a single grower in Chile and to the tables of New York. We pair New World fruit with Old World discipline, produce small-lot reserva wines, and grow alongside the partners who serve them.

QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Bottles, sourcing, and private labels

A few things people ask us. If yours isn't here, we're just a message away.

Where are the grapes grown?

Our wines come from select vineyards in Chile, where the climate and soils produce grapes with structure and depth. Each wine is a single-grower expression, not a blend of anonymous sources.

What tiers do you offer?

We work with reserva, gran reserva, and ultra-premium tiers. Every bottle is curated for balance, ageability, and a clear sense of place.

Can you create a private label for my restaurant or hotel?

Yes. We develop bespoke wine programs for hospitality groups, country clubs, and private clients. You choose the profile, and we handle the sourcing, branding, and production.

What makes Château Alessan different?

We are a single house with a clear reference: Bordeaux. Our wines are Chilean-grown but styled with restraint, structure, and a quiet ambition to sit on the best tables.

How do I order a case or a private label?

Send us a note through the contact page. We respond personally, without pressure. Orders and partnerships begin with a conversation about what you're looking for.
